Who we are

Homies Hydros is a small workshop based in regional Victoria, Australia. We have been working with Lowrider hydraulics since the early 2000’s and continue to do so to this day.

What we do

We carry out custom hydraulic suspension setups on Lowriders from all over Australia. Offering a drive in, drive out service we are able to take care of both the parts and installation.

Our Work

1964 Chevrolet Impala

This Impala came to us to have the existing hydraulic install fixed. However after finding a long list of issues we ended up starting again.

  • 3.5 ton coil springs
  • Custom CNC pump and battery rack
  • Custom made hardlines

64 Bel Air Lowrider

1964 Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon

This station wagon has a completely hidden hydraulic setup underneath the floor where the third row of seats would usually fold away.

1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V

We installed a basic lay & play hydraulic setup in this late 70’s Lincoln. Tucking away the wiring and keeping the factory aesthetic in the trunk.

1973 Buick Riviera

This Buick came in for a new hydraulic install after being freshly imported from the USA. We put together a simple lay & play setup.

1962 Chevrolet Impala

We supplied and installed a new hydraulic setup for this Super Sport Impala. The customer requested a simple functional trunk layout.

1964 Chevrolet Impala

We managed to fit 4 pumps and 8 batteries in the trunk, whilst hiding as much away as possible behind our custom paneling.

1962 Chevrolet Impala

This car came to us after a solenoid got stuck and ended up causing a fire. We redid the entire install and fitted new gold wire wheels.

1964 Chevrolet Bel Air

This was the first street car setup that we carried out in Australia. Consisting of a functional layout that maintained valuable trunk space.
